Kevin McCourt is an artist and educator based in Madrid and London. He earned his MFA from the Glasgow School of Art in 1995 and has since exhibited, taught, lectured, and led workshops across Europe, Asia, and Latin America.

McCourt has held teaching positions at institutions including the Royal College of Art and the Glasgow School of Art (UK), the University of the Future (Japan), Universidad Europea de Madrid, and Universidad Francisco de Vitoria (Spain).

He has directed several collaborative research initiatives, notably Riverrun, developed in partnership with theoretical physicist Dr. Bartolomé Luque and a team of programmers. Supported by Medialab-Prado and funded by MODELICO (Spanish Ministry of Education and Science), this project investigated collective creativity through online, participatory methodologies.

As an artist, McCourt has exhibited in Europe, Asia, and Latin America. His work has been shown at major venues such as Museo Reina Sofía, La Casa Encendida, and various Spanish Cultural Centres in Latin America. His work is also held in the collection of Fundación Montemadrid.
